We Give Children Access to Unbanned and Banned Literature
Fighting for Children’s Freedom To Read
Welcome to Let Them Read, Let Them Teach, a nonprofit organization that stands on the front lines against powerful interest groups who are spending millions to spread lies and divide Americans. Our mission is to ensure that every child has the freedom to read, learn, and grow.
Our Mission
As a dedicated nonprofit, our mission is to make banned books accessible to all, ensuring that no child is denied the opportunity to explore different perspectives and ideas. We believe that access to literature is a fundamental right, and we work tirelessly to challenge those that attempt to censor it.
About Our Founder: Jerry Roebuck
Jerry Roebuck is a New York-based retired educator and entrepreneur with over forty years of experience in the Harlem community. His impressive career includes working at every Harlem branch of the New York Public Library, counseling inmates at the New York State Harlem Halfway House, and teaching in three different school districts for the New York City Board of Education.
Throughout his career, Jerry has been devoted to the Harlem community, receiving a citation from the entire City Council of New York for his dedication and hard work. As the Founder and President of Let Them Read, Let Them Teach, Jerry continues to fight for the freedom to read and the right to an uncensored education for children across Florida and the entire nation.
